Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), a vital component of the cellular power pack that also packs an antioxidant punch, may ease postexercise poopout among fitness aficionados.  So say researchers who conducted a small but well-designed study in Japan:  Seventeen healthy volunters received either 300 mg of CoQ10 a day or a placebo for eight days, with everyone saddling up on exercise bikes.  Those in the supplemental group reported reduced fatigue; they also enjoyed a boost in performance.
