Today in Piedmont and Belle Fourche SD we celebrated Grandma Grace Wendt's 88 years. It touched our family's hearts when Grandma requested the song "In The Garden" to be sung. That is a song that I have sang to our sons since before they were born. Neither my husband nor I knew this was such a special song to Grandma. It touched us all to know. Grandma also wanted Psalms 121 read and Amazing Grace sang. While we were singing the Holy Spirit totally touched my heart when we sang about being in the veil and having joy and peace. Tonight as we unwind and prepare for a day of #1 mission field ministry time tomorrow we pondered upon "the Veil" and its symbolism. A bride is traditionally veiled on her wedding day. She walks down the aisle to her waiting groom under a sheen of white then at an appointed time the veil is lifted revealing a clarity of the beauty and splendor. I was totally touched in the service when I realized that Grandma was no longer looking through "the veil" but was opening gazing at her Bridegroom and receiving His full love and attention. Oh the peace and joy.
What does the veil mean to you?
On a side note, we've had numerous Divine appointments and would like you to join with us in PRAYER for:
* Sara (Rapid City SD) who has a servants heart and is seeking His will on how He wants her to minister to the Native Americans.
* The Wessell family from Minnesota who will be traveling from Spearfish SD back home, for traveling safety & a renewed/refreshed spirit for Him to be able to minister more fully through them.
* Our various Wendt Family members who will be traveling out to various parts of the US after coming together to celebrate her life here in South Dakota.
* Matt & Tasha Kossler who are celebrating their daughter Adalyn Joy's 35 gestational weeks of life tomorrow, May God totally give them peace & comfort as they have given their precious daughter into His arms before she even was in theirs. So amazed & honored that such a wee life can accomplish a life time of ministry without breathing one breathe of this earthly air.

PRAISES:
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! to all our ministry partners that have lifted us up in prayer during this time and those that have come along side us and helped make it possible for us to come to South Dakota for the funeral & to minister to those He brings our way. Also much gratitude for those that were insistent that we take at least one day for our #1 mission field since we are always giving non-stop where He has us. We are anticipating our day of being together & soaking His presence up tomorrow. Our hearts are so touched and blessed through each one of you.
