Such an amazing time at the Prayer Room last night AND we got to welcome to Missouri and the Mission Base Kristin Walton and Caroline Moore. Just love getting to hug them in person and have already got to start connecting them with others here. Malachi & Josiah (yes its a family connecting ministry) got to introduce them to Adam Scott while we were outside the Prayer Room - what an amazing third year IHOPU student! (He's got such a heart & is so amazing with the youth. Our sons are blessed by knowing him.) The girls are such troopers. We took them to our home and left them with a key as we had been asked to house sit last night. God is so faithful in all as Kristin had already prepped Caroline about our family ... (hmm good thing? - yip I'm taking it as so!) and even after seeing the state of our home are grateful to be there with us. All is well.
Today at present we think God has us scheduled to do a full body detox (Love it as while the client is detoxing - we get to pray for whatever the Lord is detoxing them from spiritually!), much desired time in the prayer room and another airport run to pick up Shane - an amazing man of God and another added member of our family! That's three trips to the airport this week - I just love all that prayer time on the road! However, as we are becoming very stretched and trained in flexibility and instant adaption, we are open to whatever and whomever He brings today. May our words and steps glorify Him. Randy is once again serving on the IHOP-KC Mission Base all day then (as he has for the past two nights) he's working on putting an air conditioner in a home that doesn't have one for a gentleman that part of his ministry is providing housing to those who come to IHOP Mission Base. Yip! Worshiping Him, Loving others and assisting others in furthering His Kingdom is just part of what we are called to do!
Got an e-mail that Luz Garcia made it safely to Colombia and is basking in her time with her family. Praising God for her safe travel. Thank you for your partnering with us in praying her safely in. Please keep her in prayers for Friday's visa meeting please. Pray blessings and a hearts yearning for her family to know Him better.
Guess I should get busy ... my lack of sleep is catching up with me and this tranquil environment (without moving boxes!) is so relaxing ... maybe I should focus on studying His Word on "rest" this morning. Wonder if I can do that with my eyes closed while lying prone on a comfortable surface? :) Wonder what the boys take on that will be ... Wonder what our day will look like when its over ... Pray we bring Him honor in all we do and always give our best so He can do the rest.
Blessings!
